About

Biography

I am a 32 year old Maryland resident of Chinese descent.  I grew up in NY and made my way down for undergrad and ended up staying around.  I worked for a number of year with Johns Hopkins University in the IT department but am now with SAIC as a project manager.  I don’t really have a cohesive theme as to what I am writing about, just putting thoughts on paper, metaphorically, so that there is some record to look back on.

Sarah and I enjoy spending our time with our young daughter.  Now that the MBA requirements are complete, I am looking forward to getting back to some of the other things I enjoy, photography, baseball, video games, and cooking.  Hopefully I will be able to talk more about these things in the future.  I have a thirst for just knowledge and often surprise myself at the number of interesting things to learn.  Unfortunately this has had the effect of frequently making me an amateur in many areas, rarely attaining the moniker of professional.  But there is always a glimmer of hope that I can spend more time, reading more books, and surviving near accidents that I can take any one hobby to the next level.

Most of my family still resides in NY, where the food is excellent, the public transportation is plentiful, and the cost of living is high.  We try to visit as often as possible but the last two years has been trying on all.   Most of my family loves to travel and be adventurous.  I tend towards spending time at home, hanging out with friends, and generally finding something to keep me busy.  When you compare my brother and I, the most frequent comment is “City Mouse, Country Mouse.”  I’ll let you guess which one I am.

An additional purpose of this page is to distinguish myself from the other Chris Vee’s found around the net.  If you are looking for the comedian, you have stumbled on the wrong place.  If you aren’t sure or would like to peruse my resume, feel free to email me.
