MBA done
So as of Saturday May 9th, 2009 at 4pm I have completed all my coursework for my MBA. No homework, no tests, no projects, or classes left. It’s all over. I’m just waiting for my final grades and the diploma in the mail. I started in June of 2007 right after returning from a short trip in China and plowed ahead. It’s been an amazing time, lots of work, and lots of new friendships, that hopefully I’ll be better at maintaining.
During this time I got a new job, enjoyed being a new parent, and pretty much stopped going out. Life moves on I guess. The big question now is do I go to graduation? It’d be great to see everyone one more time at least, but do I really feel like investing $130 just to walk across a stage? Part of me says, “Don’t be vain, you don’t need that approval to validate your work.” But there’s a little voice deep down saying “Yes you dooooo!!!!” I guess we’ll see who wins soon.
I am pretty happy that I was able to finish this before Isabelle could really remember my detachment. It was really difficult trying to do homework or study when her adorable fae would peek over the laptop and plead for me to play with her. Thankfully Sarah’s been able to really jump in and help out and keep her occupied. Getting this done in such a short time was a little painful, but I think better in the long run. Now I have no excuse to not play with her and do the housework.
